DISNEY FOOD

Disney has some of the best restaurant selection in the world and we plan to take advantage of that fact. This year we'll try something new – Disney's Boathouse at the new Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) — and a couple of traditional locales, such as Chef Mickey's and Be Our Guest! We've provided access to each restaurant's menu within their listings below to help you better prepare for our culinary adventures!

THE WAVE

DECEMBER 27 • 6:55pm

The Wave restaurant is located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort just next door to the Magic Kingdom. It is also part of the resort Bay Lake Tower is associated with - thus it's right in our own back yard. For many Disney fans and aficionados, the Contemporary Hotel holds a special place of honor in our love of all things Disney. It was one of the original hotels which debuted with the resort’s opening in 1971. Featuring American cusine, The Wave is elegant, fun and tasty without a heavy theme or unrecognizable fare. The perfect comfort location to start a much anticipated vacation.

LE CELLIER

DECEMBER 28 • 8:35pm

This reservation is only for two - it's a date-night. Tim and Colleen will be enjoying a quiet dinner at Le Cellier, a restaurant which they've yet to experience together. Everyone else will have their choice of food selections at Hollywood Studio or EPCOT as we will be attempting to view the Osborne Spectical of Lights display before heading off to dinner.

BE OUR GUEST

DECEMBER 31 • 2:25pm

Although unable to obtain a dinner reservation for New Year's Eve, we decided lunch would be just as good. Stay light on your feet with a fresh tuna Niçoise salad, or indulge in a tempting béchamel-smothered croque-monsieur sandwich served with pommes frites. Other favorites include the turkey baguette, vegetable quiche and the chef’s favorite—our “singing,” 8-hour braised pork! Your princesses and mini-beasts, meanwhile, can enjoy popular kids’ menu choices like Mickey meatloaf and whole-grain macaroni.

BE OUR GUEST
[Dinner]

JANUARY 3 • 6:35pm

Sorry Chris and Kim, but we had to get back to Be Our Guest for dinner and the only reservation available was when you were on your way home. We'll raise a glass – or a bite of steak – in your absence. Now about that steak…
